Macadam is pleased to reveal its new gallery space and the opening White Flag, 12 Years of Macadam's History.

White Flag is an ode to Macadam's 12 years of existence. A retrospective on more than a decade of creativity. Just like a blank canvas, it is a symbol of possibility, of truce and new beginnings.

For the occasion of the opening of our new gallery space, we want to share with you the artists that have been with us since the beginning, as well as those who have recently joined this adventure. It is thanks to them and also to you, that this journey has been possible.

Like the art that it represents, Macadam reinvents itself, changes its skin, and opens its doors after five months of work in its new space. We are thrilled and proud to welcome you to our new gallery dedicated to the promotion of sensibility and contemporary Belgian and international art. For this inaugural exhibition, Macadam pays tribute to all the encounters and artists who made our history exist and evolve with passion.

In today’s context, White Flag is a call to unity, sharing, and meeting diversity in all its forms. A synonym of peace, White Flag seems to be the perfect ground for a new start full of hope and creative ambition.

The exhibition includes an interactive experience that will take you through the story behind a selection of artworks. The voices of some of our represented artists will guide you through the space and invite you into their creative world.
